## Overview

It opened in 2014 as the anchor of a pedestrian promenade cut between two older casinos, which is a more interesting piece of planning than the wheel itself — the LINQ turned a service alley into the Strip's only real street for walking. From the top the Strip reads as a single line of towers with desert on both sides, which no ground-level view conveys. Night rides show the lighting; daytime rides show the geography.

## Highlights

Ride after dark for the lights and before dinner for the queue. Tickets are cheaper online and cheapest off-peak in the afternoon. The promenade below is free, open late and lined with bars, which is the better part of the visit for many.
