title: "About aaarticle"
lead: "aaarticle is a reference site published by the Media Division of CAC Company, covering home-kitchen equipment, travel destinations, and world history in four languages."
published: 2026-08-27
updated: 2026-09-03
change: "Widened the claim about where the correction record is printed: it is printed under the text of every page that carries one, in all four languages, so the exception naming destination pages and the Spanish edition of history pages is gone."

requester: internal
reason: "The claim was measured against the served site, and the site had outgrown it: every page carrying a record now prints it, in every section and every language, including the two groups this page named as exceptions."

## Who publishes this site

aaarticle.com is published by the **Media Division of CAC Company**. The division
is the site's editor and is answerable for everything on it.

**No page here carries a personal byline, because no person wrote one.** The pages
are drafted and reviewed by AI systems working to the division's editorial rules,
and then published under the division's name. We do not invent authors,
credentials, or review boards. What we can tell you about how a page was made is
on the [editorial policy](/editorial_policy) page.

## What is on it

| section | what it covers | pages per language |
|---|---|---|
| Home kitchen | buying guides and how-to answers for kitchen equipment | 350 |
| Tourism | destinations and the individual places inside them | 613 |
| History | regions, periods, people, events, organizations, art, and dress | 1,137 |

Every page on this site exists in **English, Spanish, Japanese, and
Simplified Chinese**. A subject that cannot be published in all four is not
published at all, so the four editions describe the same site rather than four
different ones.

## What a page tells you about itself

- **Its picture is credited.** Every image the site shows you — the photographs
on its pages and the preview cards it builds for its own link lists and for
sharing — names its author, its licence and where it came from, in the caption
  under the picture.
- **A correction is recorded with it.** Every article, destination and history
page carries the date it was first published and the date it last changed. When
a change corrects something the page said, what changed, why, and who asked is
kept in the page's own source — with the page, rather than in a separate log
that can drift away from it. **That record is printed on the page, under the
text**, on every page that carries one, in all four languages. Not every
change is a correction: a replaced photograph, a rebuild or a translation
pass moves the changed date and adds no record.
- **Articles, destinations and history pages — and these accountability pages —
keep their earlier versions.** Each published version is archived at
`snapshot.aaarticle.com`, addressed by a checksum of its own bytes, so an
earlier reading can be retrieved rather than argued about.

## Corrections

If something here is wrong, we want the correction. Write to
**contact@aaarticle.com** with the page and what is wrong with it. What happens
next — and how it becomes visible on the page — is on the
[editorial policy](/editorial_policy) page.
