## Overview

In this age ruled by the Turkic Seljuks, a dress fusing Turkish and Persian styles grew.

## Key garments and style

Courtiers layered silk robes and open-fronted coats and wound a turban. Polychrome mina'i ceramics show princes and horsemen in patterned garments, giving a glimpse of the dress.

## Transition

With the Mongol conquest and the Ilkhanate, Mongol dress was added.
