## Key garments and style

Kings and officials wore Chinese-style cross-collar robes with caps, their rank shown by colour and pattern. Temple sculpture and crafts show the dress and ornament of the age, while the people kept practical tropical clothing.

In the Tran dynasty, court dress was carried on as the Mongol invasions were repelled.
